Creating Links to PDF in Word
You have the ability to link to different information in an external document such as a PDF with a hyperlink to the content.
To create an external hyperlink to a PDF document
- In the Word menu, go to Insert > Hyperlink.
- Select Existing File or Web Page for the Link to label located on the left.
- In the Text to display text box, enter the text you would like for the hyperlink
- Navigate to the file location on the system to link against for the PDF.
- Save the Word document.
